Our service offer

Our offer consists of a short two-hour workshop in which we identify the three most important environmental aspects of your product. We model your first prototype with our software ECODESIGN+ and calculate the Product Carbon Footprint of your product. You will get an ECODESIGN+ license for six months and can evaluate possible improvement options within the software. This knowledge and evaluation tool will help you in your decisions in product development and you are already on the way to an eco-intelligent product.

We use our experience, our own software ECODESIGN+ and our methodical knowledge in product development to support you. We accompany you to a new product that fulfils its functions even better, has a significantly better environmental performance and generates fewer costs.

Or the market demand for environmentally sound products may have increased and you have not yet developed appropriate instruments to communicate the environmental performance of your product.

Our service offer

We perform environmental assessments of your products in the shape of a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) according to ISO 14040/44 and provide you with an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) according to ISO 14025 to enable you to independently communicate the environmental performance of your product. This allows you to highlight all advantages of your product on the market. In addition we create an environmental data sheet, summarizing all relevant environmental information of your product.

You are leading a research project and follow exciting research questions. The assessment and improvement of the environmental performance are important elements within your research area. You are looking for a before and after comparison.
Another aspect of your research project might investigate hot Ecodesign methodology can be adapted and applied to your specific needs.

Our service offer

We have a lot of experience in methodology development for the integration of sustainable product design / ecodesign which we can contribute to your research. We can further perform an initial assessment of the environmental improvement potential within your project. Once concrete results and data are available we can convert this into a model for a full LCA according to ISO 14044 and calculate concrete environmental impacts.

For funded research projects, we can support you in the management of the projects, from the compilation of the grant application, the project coordination to the final settlements of the project. If desired, we can make use of our partner network, if further experts are needed. We were awarded a H2020 SME instrument Phase 1 project in 2017, have successfully contributed to other EU funded projects, and are registered with a PIC number.
