ECODESIGN company at the e-nova 2021 conference
The international e-nova conference is a meeting point for experts and stakeholders interested in topics related to energy and energy efficiency, buildings and environment. The ECODESIGN company submitted two paper publications:
- Transforming product efficiency policy into systems efficiency policy: the paper was prepared together with Roland Brüninger (Swiss Federal Office of Energy) and Hans-Paul Siderius (NL Agency) and presented by Dr. Díaz. This is part of the project on systems policy, of the IEA Technology Collaboration Program on Energy Efficient End-Use Equipment (4E).
- "A Life cycle thinking" approach to assess the differences in the energy use of SiC vs. Si power semi-conductors: The paper was prepared together with DI Sebastian Glaser, DI Stephan Schmidt (both at the Ecodesign research group of the Vienna University of Technology) and Dr. Markus Makoschitz (Austrian Institute of Technology and Operating agent of PECTA). This work is part of Task B: Energy and environmental related Life Cycle Assessment of the IEA - 4E PECTA - Power Electronics Conversion Technology Annex.
