Our new project “Smart Zero Waste Dispenser” started!

An innovative Smart Zero Waste Dispenser will be developed in the project, to offer a more convenient free-packaging shopping. This shall go from the nische shops broader to the retail sector, and engage more and new customers. The new dispenser shall fulfill a number of technical functions and requirements. Together with the ECODESIGN company GmbH, the project will be carried out by SPAR Österreich (a large supermarket chain in Austria), The Vienna University of Technology, and Lunzers Maß-Greißlerie (the first packaging-free shop launched in the German speaking countries).

The project was awarded a grant from the Austrian non-profit Packaging Coordination Organization VKS GmbH.
