In 2019 the ECODESIGN company participated for the third time at the "e-nova" conference.

In the section on digitalization and buildings, Dr. Adriana Díaz presented the paper "Making smart devices really smart - A design guideline for networked standby energy consumption", which showed results of the measurements of the network standby of products, and discussed tecnical, policy and user related improvement options.

This paper is part of the work that the ECODESIGN company carries out since 2014 on behalf of the Austrian Ministry of Climate, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation, and Technology (BMK) in the IEA Electronic Devices and Networks Annex - EDNA
