Adriana Diaz holds Bachelor and Msc. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the Simon Bolivar University in Venezuela and worked as an Process Engineer and consultant for the National oil Company, pharmaceutical and consultancy firms in Venezuela.
She holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Northeastern University (NU) in the USA, where she completed the first Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) for the USA powder metallurgy industry. She also conducted LCA of vehicle recycling systems at the Laboratory of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she worked as post-doctoral research fellow.
In 2009 Dr. Diaz joined the ECODESIGN company to develop strategies for product improvements and eco-product design through the use of Life Cycle Assessment and Carbon Footprinting of products and services.
