Wolfgang Wimmer, Ao. Univ. Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Dr. techn., achieved his Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1994 and in 1999 his PhD in Engineering Design and Systems Engineering, Since 2002 he has a professorship at the Vienna University of Technology in Engineering Design and ECODESIGN. Wolfgang Wimmer started already in 1996 with the Austrian ECODESIGN platform and in 2001 he developed the ECODESIGN PILOT – Product Investigation, Learning and Optimization Tool for companies to environmentally improve their products.
